The Shipibo Women, their Peruvian doctors and the collision of two cultures

After reading "The spirit catches you and you fall down by Anne Fadiman I realize there are many similar problems between the Shipibo women and the Peruvian health providers. Most of medical doctors in Peru are trained in Lima or other important cities without any speciific training in cultural pertinence.
