Via Libre has many projects about HIV prevention. One of them is SOMOS that is targeted to men who have sex with men (MSM) in Peru and was created to improve the access to HIV testing among this population. This Project is leadered by Silvana Santos and the main objective is to reach more than 2000 MSM to provide them fre HIV testing through many venues principally Internet and movile units.
SOMOS has delivered by the Internet three videos created for three different MSM sub populations. It has been proved that the video targered to MSM who don't sef identifies as gay is better to incentivate the HIV testing.
